TMI - a step farther from the big "H"
Well all the tests are done and the results are in.
The good news is that we aren't looking at a hysterectomy. The bad news is that I am going to go in to surgery again.
The fibroid that was giving me all the problems six months ago is growing back. This time the Gynecologist has decided to put me on a drug called Lupron. Lupron will shrink the fibroid. Hopefully this means that this time the gyno can get most of it and it and it wont come back.
The problem with Lupron is that it will put me in to a chemically induced menopause.
I've been warned to expect hot flashes.
OH JOY.
Surgery is scheduled for Jan 13th. First Lupron shot for the end of this month.
should be interesting.
