Sporting Life 10K and more

Last Sunday Igal and I ran the Sporting Life 10K.

The race starts at the Sporting life store on Yonge street (just a bit north of Eglinton) and runs all the way down Yonge to Adilade turns south on Sherbourn, West on the Gardiner and then North on York to Bremmner and ends a Stones throw away from Steam Whistle Brewing.

This was the most amazingly well organized race we have ever been in. The line ups to the bag shuttles were non-existent there were plenty of porta potties, and it was chip timed!

I came in 1hour and 16 min. Igal had a spectacular time of 53 min. I would have like to do better, but the season is still young and Igal and I have decided that we would like to do at least on more 10K before September.

I am very much looking forward to the Great TTC knitalong on Saturday.
