Disturbing Outreach

This weekend was our last outreach for school and by far the weirdest one that I have thus far been too.

We went to a Cheerleading competition at the “Hershey’s Center”. The very first group that I encountered as I was registering really set my mood for the rest of the day.

There was a group of about 20 little girls. They were between 7 and 10 years old they were wearing matching costumes that consisted of very short skirts slung terribly low on there hips, belly shirts that exposed there tummies and little patches taken out of the shoulders exposing yet more skin. The costumes were black and purple. The purple bits where slick and shiny and wet looking. To top off the costumes the little girls were all done up in heavy makeup with sparkley thick purple eye shadow. They looked like tinie tiny little whores.

I looked at these little girls. No older than ten years old. I know that if I dressed in that manner at twice that age, my parents would have slapped me senseless.

Not all of the teams dressed like trash and most of them were much older than that group. But it took me quite a while to shake the dirty feeling that the first group left me with. I spoke to a number of the girls at school on Monday and quite a few of them felt that the whole thing was quite creepy and weird.

The haggis came and picked me up at the end of the day. He was waiting for me in the parking lot thinking to himself that it probably looked bad. An adult male loitering around in a parking lot were there are a bunch of little girls wandering around.

God am I ever glad that's over with.
